Jobs: When it rains it pours....

I've been out of real work for 20 months. Today I got a call back on a job I really want. Then I was hired on the spot, no experience, as a bartender. The hours for the bartendining job would allow me to do both. I've already met a bunch of the regulars and would have fun doing that job. I start Thursday. But working 72 hours a week if I get the other job?

Thoughts?

Thanks for the support. I'm a single female who lives alone, so I spend a lot of time (too much) at my bars just to be social. I figure why not be behind it aking money than on the other side spending it.

I survived. The patrons, bartender I worked with and owner thought I was great, and they made that clear. Great for the ego. And a job interview tomorrow for what I ususally do.

I'm so excited.

Sounds good so far, good luck with the interview.

If the bartending job is enjoyable for you, the hours won't be an issue. I do 80-100hr weeks in the winter between 2 jobs and it didn't bother me.....but if I didn't enjoy what I do I couldn't do it. Good luck!!
