JJ Machinery also known as snowmobile-performanceparts.com is a no good thief.
I bought a pair of scott goggles from them, paid via paypal on 9/9/11 and have been told that they shipped out several times. When I ask for the tracking number I'm told that they will have to call me back with it. I finally told them to refund my credit card, and was told it would be done, however that was a lie as-well.
Obviously I'll call my cc company and report the charge, I just wanted to put a flag out for anybody else looking to use them.
 
The way I understand it, the company has 30 days to fill your order. It is just now 30 days from your 9/9/2011 order. Granted, you have 60 days to dispute any charges with your CC company from the date of purchase. Keep an eye on it and report back on how it turned out. I would hate to think they would justify getting bashed over a pair of goggles.

He's not bashing over the goggles, He's bashing over the all the lies.
I'd be pissed too.
 
I have had several good dealing's with them also...i have been put off as they are very busy guys. But understand it is a buisness and can not allways have ice cream with my cake...Call and talk with Jeremy direct and Jeremy only!!!

so quick to bash...maybe this site should have a 45 day min limit before bashing can start..gives time for little mishaps to settle out the way they should ..


no good thief is a pretty strong statement...to strong so early in the transaction

I have no dog in this fight, but after a month with no product, no tracking #, and no refund.......... I'd be raising cain myself.

You got to be kidding,
I could have ordered the same set of goggles from 100 different shops and had them in 5 days, I chose this particular shop only because it was on the first page of my google search.

After the order, I waited 2 weeks before contacting them via email and got the response that I should have recieved them by now, they will check into it.

Another 5 days and I emailed agian to follow up, and got the response, apparently they were dropped shipped, they will look into it.

Another 4 days and I emailed again for an update, no response.

Another 2 days and I emailed again, no response.

Called 1 day later, and was told that they have shipped, but they couldn't provide a tracking number.

Told them to refund my credit card, they said O.K. but they made no attempt.

5 days later called my CC company and reported it as not recieving the item. CC issued a temp refund, and is looking into the matter.

The guy took my money over 30 days ago, lied to me on at least 2 occasions, and then cut contact. So your saying, I should just pull my pants down and let him have me for another 15 days?
The guy is a no good thief!

Wow, look what one little mistake can do. To set the story straight I at JJ Machinery have been trying to send you a refund on the goggles. This is what payal has been telling me.

This transaction cannot be refunded due to issues with the buyer's credit card. No funds have been transferred from your PayPal account.

Please call us. We have no problem sending you a refund. Looks like we might need to send you a check or another method because your paypal is not letting us.

I have been dealing with Jeremy and his company for years. They do really good and high quality work. They build all of our cranks and we trust them and stand behind them 100%. Out of 22 crankshafts we've only ever had one problem and that was because of a communication error. And it sounds like this issue is the same deal. I would recommend them highly to anybody who needs crank work or parts. They are also related to CPI Racing and I would highly recommend them as well. Ive dealt with the owner (Mike) for years as well, and he does wonders with a machine. I hate to see a good company being bashed over something so small and common...I'm afraid it's going to take a LOT more than a dispute over some thirty dollar googles to make me change my opinion about them whatsoever.
 
I bought a crank from them and got more than I paid for! We talked about the big bearing on the PTO end and it came with one but I never saw the additional on my bill.
 
Looks like we should have a moderator change the title of this thread A.S.A.P. as it's title alone is too derogatory and prejudicial, I.M.O.

Especially now that both sides of the story have come to light

Don't turn this on me. Your website only takes Visa through Paypal. I paid Visa without logging into a paypal account, and so I'm guessing thats the reason why it won't refund back. This makes it your responsibility to contact me.
I sent an email to you the day that I talked to Jared on the phone asking for confirmation on the refund, and NEVER heard anything back. I contacted you via email several times and was given the run around about you shipping the item and then communication was cut. YOU DROPPED THE BALL, Period.

Not to worry, your Boss "Jeremy" called me personally and worked it out with me today. He was very sorry about this issue, and said that I'm not the only person that this has happend to.
My advice is to take responsibilty for your actions, and do your Damb Job.

Jeremy did make it right by ordering me an upgraded pair of goggles, he did it while I was on the phone with him, and I got a shipping confirmation via emial, it took him all of 2 minutes to straighten this out.

i think there is a huge side to the otherside of the story here..one that you didn;t want us to see...or maybe it was just a plan old fashion misunderstanding.....regardless i agree with the post above that this thread is wrongfully damaging and degrading and you should delete it or the mods modify it or make it disappear..i know one thing for certain if i was in business...i would NOT want you for a customer..

The funny part is how a BUNCH of people swooped in and gave an opposing view.

THEN a happy ending occured.

I think this thread should stay visible to everyone.
