jetting with DPM?

hey guys i have a 2005 ski doo summit with the 800ho. the sled came with a spi pipe and stock silencer. my question in do i jet to the spi spec and let the dpm adjust or do i leave it stock and just let the dpm adjust. i ride most of the time at 0-3k and occasionally ride at 8-10k.

DPM will only adjust for temperature and elevation in stock form. It sends more pressure or less pressure to the float bowl with a solenoid (gets pressure from crankcase). I have an 04' 800 ptek and have to reject when the temp gets below -10F. If you do any modifications to the motor you have to reject and then the DPM will adjust for temp and elevation.

Hope this helps

Yes, you just jet as you would a normal carbureted sled....plug checks etc...
The DPM will simply keep that air/fuel rato consistant at any elevation or temp.

Good explanation. I'll add that you should jet for your baseline which, in this case, would be at sea level and at the coldest temps you plan to ride. Then DPM will adjust as needed up to 10,000 feet. Above 10,000 you'll need to rejet again for a new baseline (that is the effective range of DPM).

Have FUN!
