Jaws twin pipes on M1000???

Jaws Twin Pipes

I have a set on the way, I posted a post day's ago wondering the same thing but only had one guy reply. MY set is made just for 0-3000ft. They said you have to double up on the base gaskets or engine damage will occur. Other then what they tell you over the phone and the instruction sheet is all I know about them. They said their fuel #'s were a very good starting point and that I would be very impressed with these pipes, but they are selling them to. There has to be more then one guy running these pipes @ sea Level.

cuttler twins

I have a set of cuttler twins (made by Jaws) on my 07 M1000 and absolutely love them. They fit under hood fine but it is tight i bought some heat shield and pipe wrap from summit racing. wrapped the pipes with the wrap ( pain in the a$$) and put heat tape anywhere close to plastic and have had no issues. I also installed a cuttler airbox and got rid of the stock intake which gave more room under the hood. I use an attitue controler and it is a great setup. a liitle more finniky to tune and keep tune i do have to adjust fuel more often than with a single but the performance gain is well worth it. its a bolt on 30 hp. money well spent for me. PM me if you guys have some more questions or we can hook up on the phone if you like.

i ran these pipes for 2 years. They worked considerably better than a single. I had the 2 base gaskets with a 2 degree timing key as well. The one thing i didn't like was they did fit pretty tight under the hood. I would run a delete kit for your exhaust valves. I just couldn't seem to stop the cables from melting. Besides that i have no complaints. I put in the numbers jaws gave me and never touched them once all season. I was using a egt gauge and temps seemed good. Wash on pistons looked good as well.

We have had really good luck with the Jaws twins. As stated above, they run better with 2 base gaskets or porting and head mods. I really like to use the powervalve delete kits as you will have a time with the cables getting burned. They fit nice for twins and sound great! I would say you are getting about 5HP more than a good single setup with them.
