I just got off the phone with my dealer, asking to have the JAN14 flash installed on my 2010 800. He told me he does not have any release dates on his computer all he has is part numbers. im looking to get the JAN14 flash to go with my PCV stoutner map.

So does anyone know the part # for the JAN14 released flash?

Thanks!

Depends on your injector color. I posted this some time ago....

The 800 has 3 injector colors (dots located on body of each injector) - Blue, red, Yellow. All injectors should be of the same color.

The 04-15-10 flash number = Blue 4013135 , Red 4013134 , Yellow 4013136

The 01-11-10 flash number = Blue 4013066 , Red 4013065 , Yellow 4013067

Original 2010 update flash = Blue 4012959 , Red 4012958 , Yellow 4012960

You can have your dealer run a "Service Report" and it will list the "Software part #". That will tell you what you have loaded.

Thanks Jim!
as far as telling what colour injectors you have. I had a coloured piece of tape (yellow) just above my throttle bodies infront of the airbox, i just shined a light down there to find the couloured piece of tape, almost looks like electricians tape.

Unless you bought the sled new, I'd say you better look at the injectors themself's just to be extra sure.

If the ecu is the factory one it will say what color injectors you have. Also the injectors will have a little dot, almost like a paint marker of what color injecters they are.

Yup double checked and there yellow!
onlypolaris is correct, its on top of the ECU.
mine did have yellow piece of tape there, i bought it brand new and its a 2010
thanks for the post jim... very helpful

Based on what I’ve read here. My guess is just because a (injector vendor) manufacturer(s) delivers a product that is in “spec” that doesn’t mean that it’s exactly the same as all the others. I think what the red blue yellow is … is an attempt to group all the injectors together that have similar flow patterns.

jim,
do you know if those flash#'s you posted are north american wide?
or just for the states?
im up in canada and am curious to if they are the same.

There is a Euro edition but the rest are US versions. I'd have to get home and boot the laptop to check. Let me know if you want me to.
