James Stewart responds....post PHOENIX moto

Jeeze! What ever happened to Mike Laracco? Nicest guy you could ask!

haha I kinda lost respect for Stewart a few years ago, Mcgrath had come back to run a few races, bubba had wiped out on the start and was trying to salvage a finish, 2 laps left, mid pack, Stewart slides up and takes out (HARD!) Mcgrath. Mcgrath was left the inside line open because he knew he was coming up hard, but.......take if for what it's worth.

Reed's kinda always been a girl though!;)

Anyone seen "Dust to Glory", I think we need more racers like Johnny Campbell!

BUT! Racing breeds hard riding, just happens, otherwise it wouldn't be racing.

Stewart is a beotch.

If he ran in the front he wouldn't be worrying. And as previously stated that was nobodys fault. Millisaps had the high line forcing James down into Reed.

And everyone knows when you wreck and someone/thing is on top of you, you shove it hard out of the way.

never liked stewart. If reed would stop talking he would be fine.

gotta love dungey,

also one of my favorite riders to watch is windham such a smooth rider.

hopefully ferry's foot heals and he gets a ride again.

fun to watch the older guys still ride hard

wonder what would of happened if it was tyler evans that reed did that to? that would make highlight reels for years! lol

K-dub when he is on is unbelievable, hate to say but he has fallen a bit out of his prime a bit, but like you said, smooth, one of the last old-school type riders, I love watching him race against all the younger riders, they have the "pin it and bounce through the course" versus flow and precise line selection.

I meet him in the pits 4 years ago at the Las Vegas SX race, super nice guy! Also meet Laracco, same way.

imagine what would happen in J-Law threw a tantrum like Stewart did.....wait even J-Law probably thought Stewart was acting like a beotch.

Come on Dungey!!!!

K-Dub is one of the last true moto guys I think, very open and relaxed in the pits....not just doing his 30 minutes of time.

I don't think the crash was really dirty. Stewert was already commited to that line, and had no where to go, and Reed tried to take the inside. Reed has always been a D-bag IMO, so hitting him on the head didn't help. He should have just let him get off. If he wouldn't have cut in front of James, there wouldn't have been a wreck, but that's part of racing. Reed's a puss that couldn't finish anyways.

Dungy is a hell of a racer, and a down to earth kid. I hope he wins the championship this year. It's gonna get real interesting when CP, and Weimer come up to the 450 class next year.

I agree with you

also meet him in the pits at millville 2 year ago

that's when I met him 2 or 3 years ago. Just me and my daughter bumming around 20 minutes after the pits were closed. He was just chilling under his tent by himself and called us over to talk.

the first crash is hard to see what happened, to me, it looked like james thought he could pass him in the air and beat him to the next double, but its clear he tried to yank the bike left in flight as he noticed it was not going to end well....

the second crash is also hard to judge, sure james wants chad to stay behind him......duh! but james is far from a dirty player and chad has been this way for awhile......the true hate that chad has is from his critics and the "real fans" saying Chad was never the best, never has been and never will be, he only wins when the goat or james was down or not racing be it super of outdoor

chad pushing james head was a bit nasty, but thats the way folks get back on the bike quicker, nothing new, the only thing thats new is how james looked, in a fetal position looking badly hurt

call it what you want, chads eyes have been filled with a deep anger for along time

all in all, this drama is good for TV and the sport.....no matter how you look at it, ratings are up:beer;

Personally, I'm sick of James. He constantly whines and brags at the same time. IF he was as humble as Ricky, i'd love 'em.

I think Reed was sticking to his inside line, not going up into James at all. James cut down trying to get past Millisaps, just so happened Reed was holding his line.

I think Reed is just a major douche anyways. Always has been. He is cocky with nothing to back it up. If you are the fastest on the planet, then you have a little room to be cocky, but he is not. Even when Stewart was far back in the pack, cr was still behind him. He always has some excuse of why he didn't do good. Always blames someone else and I hate his whining. And IMO there is absolutely no call for shoving Stewarts head like he did. What if Stewart had a spinal injury from the crash? I know it was just a small crash in the corner, but still, bad sportsmanship.
As for Stewart, I dont get all the haters. He is crazy fast and is a cool guy. I met him in Vegas a few years ago. I hope he can come back from this injury and do well the rest of the season.
Props go to Dungee for the smooth ride and top of the podium finish.
Man I sure miss watching the GOAT. What an awesome rider he was. And a very humble guy. I also met him at Vegas and he was way cool to talk to.
I'd also like to see Short do well this season. He is a very smooth and consistant rider and a very humble and nice guy too. It aught to be a good season. Cant wait to make the yearly trip to Vegas in May! Any one else going?

I've seen James shove guys and bikes off....it's a heat of the moment reaction, you need to get going and the quickest way is to push stuff off of ya. Ask anyone who has raced. Your not thinking gosh, he may have hurt his neck".

As for James being super nice, all I got is that 4 years ago my father-in-law asked him to sign a shirt for my then 1 year old. He did it but acted like it was a huge burden, same thing with CR this past year.

Then you get guys like K-Dub and 199 who will sit and sign and BS all day, now that's nice guys.

Anyone watch JS on racerx talking about the race? Got a little thick at points
