Jamaal Green...NFL star leaves the NFL to be a Border Patrol agent because he wanted to do something he believes makes a difference. Sounds like Pat Tillman...class act!

maybe he's tired of over paying for his weed? wants to get it right as it comes across..........

If he wants to make a difference, he should have done something else. Every Border Patrol agent I have ever spoken to. They say their hands are so tied that they can't do anything. They are given orders to go somewhere where illegals won't be crossing, and then the illegals cross somewhere else. Seems a little fishy to me. Then there was the two agents sent to prison for shooting that POS illegal, drug running felon. At least Bush released them before getting out of office. I am getting so pissed off because of all of these liberals POS's ruining this country.

Oh, you mean those two agents who shot the guy in the back, left him to die by not trying go after him so they could try to cover up what they did, and then lied to their superiors over it? Leave your emotions out of their case and just look at the facts, those two guys are just as much POS's as the guy they shot.

Maybe that's the kind of justice we need so they quit crossing the border.

Possibly, but that is not the kind of behavior I want to see from Federal Agents.

Agreed 100%, Rep left.

If they didn't think they didn't anything wrong, why did they try and cover it up?

Jamaal Green... he never really had a career in the NFL. He had a total of 2 tackles and 1 sack in 8 CAREER GAMES. My guess is that all of those stats where at an irrelevant part of the game.

Cool that he is doing "what he wants" but don't even try to compare him to Pat Tilman. Tilman was a pro bowl player, who left a contract behind. Green couldn't even make the practice squad.

The guy is a drug trafficking murderer suspect (the murdering part is not documented by the liberal media of course! ...and neither is the damn fact that the bullet recovered from his A$$ was not a caiber of the agents!!!!! ...the court kept that pretty little fact out of the trial) Most law enforcement agencies AUTHORIZE putting someone down of that nature if he is fleeing, because he will most likely kill AGAIN and/or try to kill another officer again. I am sick of people Monday night quarterbacking this....his partner was laying there bleeding after shots had been fired and a struggle with the POS. These two might have made an error in judgement (which I doubt), but it sure as hell wasn't criminal! I was a Border Patrol agent for 3 years...in California and AZ...it is a thankless job and you work long hours in the nasty dry heat....they reacted the way they thought they should. If I believed my partner had just been shot by a murdering drug trafficker! ...are you kidding me. Compean was a decorated officer....nominated for Border Patrol agent of the year...also a naval reservist. The man has (not had) honor and integrity....yes he might have made an error in judgement (not likely), but to be treated the way he was....complete BS! Why do you think Bush excused their prison sentences....just for the hell of it huh? He didn't give them pardons because of the backlash of the libbies...I guarantee that!

Looky who is here...libby #2 ....in support of the convictions of the agents...what a shocker.

Green played for 3 teams...the league minumum salary is a hell of a lot better than an agents, plus the lifestyle is a hell of a lot better. No he is not a Pat Tillman....that is my bad....but I believe he left a better life to serve. Not something most Americans these days can say they did.

Like I said MPS, think with your head and not your heart. I prefer to look at facts and not let my emotions cloud my judgement. Neither agent knew that the illegal was a murder suspect or had a gun when they engaged him, they thought he might so they took a shoot first - ask questions later stance, which is exactly what i want federal agents thinking . Also, how is falsifying government docuements and trying to cover up their actions supposed to be seen other than realizing they were in the wrong and had a error in judgement? I personally dont cover things up and lie if i know i am right and acted with honor, seems like the exact oppisite to me. And it sure as hell is criminal what they did, thats why they were convicted the first time and why their sentences were cummuted and did not recieve a pardon.

Also ask anyone who knows me on here, I am FAR from a liberal, I just get sick and tired of people hiding behind ideals on both sides when the truth is out there is you do your own research and use your head. Also it gets really old when extremists from both sides automatically start calling you a liberal or right wing wacko if you disagree with their arguement, shows how strong their arguement really is.

I am thinking with both....I am not going to agree with you....so we can agree to disagree. Yes falsifying there reports was stupid, huge error in judgement because they feared being scrutinized too much. I understand why they did it. Does it make it right, hell no. Yes they were convicted in that fu(king circus court. Do I believe they acted criminally? NO! Do I believe they acted in a way to be terminated...YES. You weren't there and you don't have the knowledge you think you do. You have the knowledge fed to you by a liberal media....even the court transcripts have been pumped out in way to favor the liberal media's story....I stated the facts as I know them, which includes facts from friends still in the agency and ICE agents I still work with. I didn't imply that you were a liberal, but I know milehigh is from other threads.
