This will be the first year in 8 that Robrstopr and I will NOT be going to West and the Climbs. He's going back over to the big sandbox for the war this weekend & I can't break our tradition ... so no show for us. I'll be there with the wife and about 9 other people... staying at the Antler. Can't wait, missed it last year because the wife was 7 months prego... little guy is staying with Papa and Grandma while we're there.

Gotta stay sunday just to see those finals...
Plenty of carnage to be had on the hill and in the BARS
Last year there was some good deals from the vendors, I picked up a sno-skinz cover for 150 normally 200 all day long anywhere. The best cover ever no fading, no rips, fits good. Also some good Klim gear deals. Let's not forget the good deal on da' beers! Cheap enough to be a 2 fisted drinker all day, no chit!!!!

I wont be going but have a few times in the past. I have a suggestion to those still looking around. We've stayed at the wolf den inn in thayne, (10 minutes south of Alpine Wy) Its a great place with private cabins, best bang for the buck if you ask me. We took the sleds and had some of the best sledding in the west around Alpine and south around Afton Wy. I would suggest this, go to the hillclimb on Sat or Sun the other days are not as exciting, as far as great riding goes. Take your sleds and ride the area the days before or after you are there, you wont regret it.

Summit800 and I were talking and he was saying the weather high's were around 22 degrees in the daytime, and plenty of snow. I like seeing white snow over brown snow any way.
