It's that time of year again.

I just want to send a shout out to those who helped me last year and let them know how truly grateful my family and I are. It is now time again to look at gathering firewood for the winter so I can keep my house warm while I go play in the snow next winter. I know it is really to early to gather wood now just wanted to plant a bug in some ears and let people know I am starting to scout and will be looking for help again. Thanks in advance for all you guys, and gals, do for me and mine.

Thanks a million my friend. I will plan on it and let you know when. Probably toward the end of September.

May try to make a small trip or two before that if anyone else wants to chime in.

Ok, so the date is Sept 7 and we are heading up Mirror lake or Mill Hollow to cut wood. The plan is to cut in 6 to 8 ft lengths and haul it to the house. About 2 weeks later we will round up the young men of my ward and buck it up split it and haul it to the back of the house.

Sounds great, I am renting a trailer and hae 2 more joing us. I know we will have some saws but can't hurt to have extras. I will be packing a cooler full of drinks so give me preferences and I will try to accomidate all that is not alcoholic. Will bring some snacks as well.
