You are correct, the march meet in Bakersfield California was last weekend. Lots of nostalgia funny cars, dragsters and other cool old stuff racing there.

My dad raced a 54 merc with a paxton super charger on it mostly at Arlington air port or some where in Everett back in the mid fifties.. Guess it was fast,, I remember as a kid guys bringing their cars to our house so he could tune them....
