this hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central
washington and north central washington.
.day one...this afternoon through thursday morning
a red flag warning is in effect tonight for abundant lightning.
After the thunderstorms end between 7 am and 10 am...gusty west
winds will be common until midday.

.days two through seven...thursday afternoon through tuesday
a much cooler air mass will move into the inland northwest from
saturday night through the remainder of the labor day weekend.
Snow levels will also be gradually falling...bottoming out near
6000 feet sunday night into monday morning. Those with outdoor
plans in the mountains should be prepared for much cooler
temperatures...and even a chance for snow showers in the high
cascades. The highest precipitation amounts will occur near the
cascade crest...where minor snow accumulations are possible mainly
sunday night.
