It's going to be like a war zone out there on Thursday/Friday!

Several feet of snow followed by a 6000 foot snow level. Boy is it going to be dangerous at the end of the week!

Wednesday... Windy. Snow... Heavy at times. Snow accumulation of 6 to 12 inches. Total snow accumulation 1 to 2 feet. Afternoon pass temperatures in the upper 20s. West wind in the passes 30 to 35 mph. Gusts up to 55 mph in the morning.

Wednesday night... Breezy. Snow likely. Additional snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches. West wind in the passes 20 to 25 mph.

New years day... Rain and snow. Snow level 3000 feet. Afternoon pass temperatures in the 20s. South wind in the passes 10 to 15 mph.

Thursday night... Very windy. Rain and snow. Snow level rising to 6000 feet... Except remaining near 3000 feet far north. Southwest wind in the passes 20 to 25 mph increasing to 30 to 35 mph after midnight.

The rise in freezing level will finally bring the base we're all waiting for!:D

Now let's just stay out of the higher elevations and off the steeper hills until it's all set up and safe.

Live to ride another day.

Thats why I am just going to hit Whistlin Jacks on Thurs. :face-icon-small-fro

That's about the only ride I really miss from Greenwater.
That one and Raven's Roost.

I learned how to ride there but I quit going when the road washed out and they built the Matterhorn.

Been up there (Greenwater) a few times since but never back to Jack's.

Whistlin Jacks

Do you guys know if the eternal road to Whistlin Jacks is scheduled to be groomed for New Year's Day?

Might be a good option until the snowpack changes from bricks on potato chips...
