Be safe out there...I expect to see some activity in the snowpack

Pretty average year after all. Can't believe you guys are only 27" ahead of us for the season here on Mt. Hood. Seemed like earlier in the year you were getting snow and we were just getting rain! Looks like another foot this week, then betting that's it. At 3500' here there is virtually nothing, at 4500' and above it is slightly above average thanks to March:face-icon-small-hap

Very lucky. March brought us nothing except for the 15" on the Fourth (at least in the area where I ride) and nothing measurable since.

Too bad I can't get up there to ride, looks to be amazing.

It's been another awesome "slightly above average year" in Whistler. The ski hill has only had around 517" at mid mountain but across the valley where we ride has had more like 800-1,000" this year. There is over 20-25' on the ground. I've been fortunate enough to have ridden well over 100 days so far this year with at least 70 of them being face shot days.

It's neck deep right now and cold...it doesn't get much better. I did choose Whistler for a reason though. (actually, several reasons)

Whistler is definitely a snowmobile destination everyone should have on their "hit list". Tons of snow, amazing/huge terrain and one of the safer snowpacks in North America. If you haven't been yet you should try to get up here someday.

PJ- next year?

Right on, rip it up, you guys should be riding well into july?

We got 150" during the month of March, just shy of 500" this year but people are still complaining.

And here I sit at the west end of the Uinta Mountains at 60% of normal snowfall for the year........

I live in the same area as two stroke and he is right people are complaining. No idea why, I haven't had a bad day yet. We should be ridig well into July again this year. Maybe later if it keeps up!

I'd love to get out there to ride, even for a day. It would be worth the 30 hour drive for me if it's as deep as you say.
