Issue with C3 Forward Post Mount on 1100T

Just finished installing the C3 forward post mount on the turbo kitty. It moves the post onto the intercooler tube a fiar bit, compressing the tube. I have tried manipulating the direction of the tube to get less compression but am not happy.

Anyone have/solve this issue?

I ran mine for a year like that, didn't cause any issues. Took the post forward of after installing full exhaust as steering post hit the down pipe. Its a nice upgrade tho as far as handling goes.

Had the same problem so I cut a peice of thin pvc cut in half length ways painted it and slipped it over boost tube and used a couple zip ties to secure it works great

Do you have the stock intake plenum or is it removed?

A few of my observations now that I have had a chance to ride the sled with the C3 conversion.

Bad:

I think the tmeplates could be better. You do not need to cut as much of the airbox as the templates make you cut. Certainly the top cut could be closer to the rider.

I am NOT comfortable with all the HVAC tape needed to ensure the airbox ids closed off. It works, but is vunerable and looks crappy.

Steering seemed to stiffen up at the upper bushing, despite backing off the bolts several times. Part of this I think is due to the shaft rubbing on the intercooler hose. I am still not happy with that and will try to figure out a clean and effective workaround.

Good:

It is a much more comfortable and natural riding position. At 6'5" I had been running an 8" riser. With the post forward I went to 6" and it feels good.
