Issue with BD Turbo on 13 XM

I'm having an issue with the sled holding any RPM over 6,000. Sled is building boost fine whether I have it on 5# or 10#. Low and mid range are great. It will rev up to 7900 with all the power in the world but if I stay on the throttle the sled seems to go to rich and backfire. The sled doesn't do it on flat ground without a load. Only does it when it is under a load climbing a hill or when I hold the throttle wide open. I have all the suggested fuel settings so I don't think it is a setting issue. Plugs look fine. Checked all connections and nothing seems to be loose or leaking. Anyone have any ideas?

My 800R Turbo was sort of doing the same thing last weekend. Only thing that I changed before we left was more pin weight. Going to take some out to get the rpm's back up over 8000. If it rev's to 7900 then starts dropping it could be as simple as to much pin weight. Might be worth a try.

Are the etec powervalves setup similiar to the R motor? I had similiar issues w/ mine at full throttle once when a line from the solenoids to the powervalves came off. It would do it regardless of load, but otherwise sounds familiar.

I swamped them a couple times. I sent the sled back to BoonDocker so I am sure they will get it figured out.
