Is Timbersled the only brand left?

There have been some attempts during the past decades to make interesting track kits for dirt bikes.
The Explorer and 2 moto are examples of that. From what we know, these kits didn't performe what snowmobilers expected. Customers tried the product and went back to sleds.
Timbersled was the groundbreaker in this sport.
I think we have a solid product from TS that will form a new winter recreational wehicle not unlike a sled but in a different way.
Give this sport some time and you will hopefully find more manufacturers.
Right now we have only one brand and some lone DIY builders.

What would be the logical retailer for these kits, a bike or sled?
Many retailers sell only bikes or sleds, not both.

I have thought many times what is the target customer. A snowmobiler or a dirt bike rider?
There have been a plague in this forum feed of different polls. I would find it very interesting wether you considering you as a dirtbiker or a snowmobiler?
I'm a snowmobiler that never ridden dirt bikes ;-)

I cant wait until i can buy a snow bike that is a OEM for snow only with 100+hp without turbo! A KTM/Timbersled collaboration or any brand for that matter would be so awesome!

Was just looking at one of these last week at the trade show , workmanship is top notch .

No worries there , quite a different concept going on since the rail angle can be adjusted to riding conditions .

Im glad 2moto is going bye bye. Their "RadX Upgrade" is a joke! Timbersled is a good brand, not perfect but what makes them different is they they work hard and uses proven snowmobile suspension. Every one else is trying hard to re-invent the wheel and fail at. Every one knew that you needed a better approach angle than 2 moto was putting on their first kits. I have to laugh because I had people tell me time and time again that it didn't matter.... what does their upgrade do... adds a joke of a rake.... Im a loyal TS rider. I also know that this sport is young and there is still so much room for improvement. Lucklly TS won't stop and think they have made the best kit. Each year they listen to their riders and update their kits...

Sure looks cool in showroom

My ?? For them was why don't we see them in some side by side comparisons. Same reason we never really heard much from the UFO kits either. Do they work sure and so did the explorer kits we sold five years ago. No different than our snowhawks. They worked from stock just not worth crap in the deep. Trench like a mother. Put a mtn specific skid under it then tell me what u think!!

There's a reason for that , it's because the majority of riders don't live in the mountains and majority rules .

We're shifting off topic here , all these other set ups work just fine for what they where designed for .

As for my ride it was designed off of a fanner built from the ground up that was designed for arena/CCR racing , since I'm running a 151 I no longer have a concern about the trenching .

Some of these other manufactures understand how much a snowmobile suspension pushes a bike around and have totally taken away it's handling characteristics and T/S knows this since they are now offering different suspensions .

I'm looking forward to new products and changes since I still ride a machine that many consider a difficult machine to ride and when one of these machines can out climb and out run mine at the pace it runs I will convert .

There was also a T/S at the trade show and apples to apples there isn't much for a comparison except one of them looked like it was a lot more of a hand full to handle .

Yep off topic , I even did it .

I found the Yeti Snow MX CAD drawing of the front spindle on Sketchfab.com. It looks pretty neat and I'm guessing the body is all carbon fiber.

Yeti Snow MX Spindle

I can't find any information on the track system yet. They've obviously been pretty hush hush about it.

Found this pic on instagram using #rideyeti
Maybe this is the bike?
