Is this the year for Yamaha's to take flight

GODEEP, when are you gonna be back up in Stewart? The Sledjunkies boys wanna make a trip up there this winter. If we could catch you up there we'd finally be able to meet the guy behind scenes :D

Im not too sure exactly when.. All will depend on if I can close this one deal or not sooner than later. Could be as early Jan sometime, then I'll be back up in Feb. If deal takes longer, It wont be until Feb. I'll keep Matt informed for sure. That would be nice to meet everyone.:)

im going to be running an alpine front mount turbo , and fox evol shocks in the front and an ezryde rear skid . I went riding with Randy and the boys last season and tried out the nytro , and was really impressed . Cant wait to go riding it is snowing up high in revy right now.

cheers

Rob

When are you going to Stewart? I REALLY want to ride there and finally have the money to road trip it this year.

All depends when I can get the boys together and get time off work. We'd like to head up when GODEEP is up there. But I'd like to get you down for that too. I'll keep you in mind for sure.

Sick It should kill it. Besides a Rev, that seems like the only other choice. The Nitro seems to have the same feel as a Rev. Right on. Yeah its been cold as crap in the A.M's. We will be rippin soon!!!

I thought I heard that Matt was coming to Stewart the same time we were going. There is going to be some good carnage that week.:face-icon-small-win.

Aw man...I got a red dot for my post. WTF did I do wrong?

We ALL know Dukie got banned...a couple times. What's wrong with a trip down mammery lane?

Sheesh. I'm hurt.

Maybe he made up his mind, last I talked to him he was on the fence not sure what was happenin.......I better give him a call. haha

Anytime your involved Neil, it's always bound to be exciting. Let's see if I can quote you right, " I wanna be the first one to crash!" haha. I was there when you smoked that rock at turbo-it days........figured from then on the camera should be rolling pretty much anytime you start your sled :D

My 09 is already in. Gonna roll full timbersled suspension, with Fox evolvs. Trygstad goodies under the hood. My bro is supposed to buy my 08. I still have a 05 600 rev pretty pimped for backup. Still working on a new wrap. Snow already!!

We are gonna come up with the ladies to ski and sled. They want to board Revy and do a bit of sled skiing. I think we're coming up for two weeks, that will give us tons of time for both. We thought about bringing the truck campers? Shed some cost on lodging. Do you have a power hook up for the trucks? LOL After seeing your facebook photos I am Stoked to get up there! take it easy, Rob

That must have been Render, he crashed every weekend I think:face-icon-small-sho

i was riding a rev last year , but i have been selling off all the parts as the bulk head and tunnel needed replaceing . I landed really hard on one air and the bottom a arm actually tore right out of the mount . I have power hook ups , but am not really set up for campers. There is a fully setup place right across from the peaks lodge with full power and sewer , water hook ups. I beleive it is called the smokie bear campsite. That ski hill should be sweet if a person wants to do some skiing and boarding to change it up a bit.

Ah sweet man!
Goodies as in...big bore...head/porting? Trygstad makes some sick products so it should kill it.

Im rollin stock motor this season but we'll see for next..yeah but the it's pretty much gone! :( it's agitating when it comes and you get your hopes up and then it melts.

I have been jumping Yamah-lars since the Mountain max. yes heavy. Yes Durable. And yes heavy.

One benifit is they leave a bigger hole when you land so the nexy guy that lands in it with his sweet rev gets bucked...

And these pics were on the ORGINAL yamaha heavy meat. the low horsepower heavy arse vector.

You guys and your fancy pants-d nytros. You gotta come correct and launch an rx-1 or vector to really appreciate ALL of yamahas technology. When your in the air on one of those and your GVW (groos vehicle wieght...for you non trucker types) coomes close to 1000lbs.....there is NOTHING like it!!!!

Wow sweet anchor toss! My good bud used to have an old vmax 600 and we would tease him and call him "The Red Anchor". Even though the summits we were riding were equally heavy. Remember those old summit dinosaurs?
Seriously though It's all about rider and not brand or weight of the machine. def watch out for yamaha craters if more plan to take to the sky this winter. take out a rev in a heart beat.

The vmax. My first sled a rode was a vmax. It's like riding a moose. Except it's faster....barely. The old summits were in fact a vmax in riding comparison. I think an old summit would be akin to riding a a slow elk. (Idahoan dairy cow for those of you from out of state)

I rode the vecotr i think in Alticity 3 or 4....i can't remember. I think those photos are off the video. I think i wouod like to try a nytro. If Rob is man-ing up to ride one that says something. I think there will be pics of a yamaha doing things never seen before if that's the case.

In either case Rob will lay some sweet Yama-mines for all the cocky XP riders that may enter his LZ holes in Revy. I can see it now...some dude is airborne. Look down and relizes he is about to land in a Yama-mine and bends the knees and clears the chin from the bar pad seconds before impact.
