Stock clutch, SLP primary spring @ 140/340#'s, looks like a wrong belt judging by the wear of the belt. Inner cogs aren't even touched. That clutch looks like needs a major cleaning and serviced. Hot soapy water and a scotch brite pad will do the trick, then rinse with water and dry off. Go through primary and secondary and check all bushings and take springs out to see how smooth they shift and if there is no slop in the bushings. The way it was kept might be a good idea to go through the whole sled also.
Thanks ! Im new to this. Is there a "how to" post / thread with pics on how to service the primary and secondary and take it all apart?
Yes the belt is wrong but i got the bigger belt with the sled and will replace it soon.
@ the top of the forum there is helpful links and how to threads/stickies. Good read and very helpful info in those. The thing is most links in them are broken. When clicking the link if it is broken, add the word online after snowest in the links. so www.snowest.com/..... would be www.snowestonline.com/.... then the link should work.
If no info on there about servicing the clutches in one of the threads there is a shop manual download. Aslo search on here is very helpful just search manual download or whatever else you are looking for.
