1st, let me admit I troll around FB, but very rarely post.

I HATE facebook.

Yet many of the things I make fun of facebook for also apply here.

It's difficult for me to explain, but I just don't think that time spent around here is as big of a waste as time wasted on that lame facebook site.

And WTF is the deal with all of those gay azz games on FB?!?!

It's almost like FB is a damned cult!

Am I alone here?

ha the only thing I use facebook for is to see who is in a relationship, who has children, to confirm someone has died, or to see what school someone is going to.

If I actually want to see how my friends are doing I'll call/text/skype

l looked at my sons site one day and his girlfriend posted that he was at work..(so away from the house)..she was going to walk the dog on a certain trail..(so she was away from the house and as well on a sparsely traveled trail without a human companion that now everyone knows that read her post)

Facebook is a dangerous site if use incorrectly..Like Tudz says..if used properly its ok..
but we are talking mostly youth here..

I have a face book account but never post . I was immediately turned off by it when after I set up my account the flood of email notifications started coming. Most of it was total BS I could care less about,friend requests from random people etc. like most websites Facebook is as gay as the people who use it. I don't so I really haven't figured it out and it seems like Stupid drivel or at least the bulk of the content I have read .

You just have to set it up the right way to not get annoyed with the BS. Turn OFF all notifications, block the people that are 'friends' but only post annoying, stupidly absurd crap every day, and don't use it the same way a Twitter account was intended to notify the world of every turdlet you let out.

I stroll through at my leisurely pace and usually only post stuff I've done that I feel is truly relevant for others to see. All in all, especially when SRM is un-caged, I think there's a real similar correlation between the 2 sites. I agree with Tudizzle that it's all in what each user wants to make of it.

Oh, I also enjoy going on at about 7am and seeing all the wasted pictures of the girls dumb enough to take drunk pictures of themselves and others and post them on FB. Its funny how they post those pictures then between about 12-2 that day they are taken down!
Ha the best was pictures of girls making out and one had a boyfriend! ha I literally fell to the floor laughing and showed my roommate!

My wife once posted that we had an argument- I told her to delete it immediately. our personal business ,no one else's.

Facebook is a great way to see pictures of friends kiddo's that you don't get to see every day. It is a great way to check out someone's kick azz pictures from sledding, hunting or 100 other activities for that matter. You don't have to post stupid crap like fighting or taking a poop, got to admit some times that is pretty funny though.

I have a chick I went to school with who is a friend on facebook post about 30 times a day about the most worthless chit. Takes about her 3 mile run every morning, oatmeal breakfast and jog during lunch breaks. Not sure who she is kidding it only takes one glimpse to see she is lying out her hass...

Snowest of a pretty usefull site if you use it to get what you are looking for. For sure there is a lot of crap on here but you can get answers for just about anything sled related. The other 95% of the time why not get a kick out of reading the drama that goes on here.

I was a Facebooker (or Bookface as Dwight from the Office calls it) and then decided to cancel my account, which was not that easy to do. I should have known better when I mistakenly posted a pic of a bear I got with my bow on my page. I then had friend requests from every redneck on both sides of the Mississippi. They were calling me their "blood brother" and all sorts of other hunting cliches. It was my bad, I learned from that. I then realized I had blocked almost 95 percent of my "facebook friends" because I didn't really care what was going on, or that most of the stuff they posted was worthless info. I like my internetting to be semi anonymous, and able to be entertaining, thought provoking, or have some useful info...Kind of like Snowest is some of the time. I can honestly say I don't miss it at all.

I use fb on the mountain in the lodge when all there is is wifi to tell my friend the snow Conditions. Other than that I think nobody I know cares if I post a pic of a uphill tail walk on a bluebird day or a mid air cornice drop, I have never gotten a reply anyway

I've had class since 8 now im studying for my microbiology lab final which is 5-7 then I go to my math review session from 7-8 for my math test tomorrow. Then I get to study math till 11 or 12 when I go to sleep and then wake up at 5:30 so I can wake up and shower before my math test at 6:30. Did I mention finals week is next week?
