Is this dealer trustworthy?

Long time lurker here with a question for you guys. I finally decided to take the plunge and get a new nytro this year, but was waiting to see if any good deals popped up later in the fall. I saw this ad on KSL.com and was wondering if anybody has had any experience with this dealer... Cycle City in Rupert Idaho. Any thoughts on the dealer or the ad - good or bad?

Here's a link to the ad.

Thanks for the help!:beer;

I know of a couple of guys who should know the answer to that, but they aren't on snowest. F-Bomb might also know. Another idea, you might post this in the Idaho section of riding areas, that will get a response. :D

I bought from them last spring. Did the entire deal over the phone, drove about 500 miles to pick up the sled, and when I got there, the sled was $200 LESS than they said it would be. As a matter of fact, I believe I got it for TRUE dealer cost, and they even waived their sales incentive.

They cut me a check right there for the $200. We were in and out of the store in less than 15 minutes. We had enough time to stop at Togwotee for a couple of hours on the way home.

Great folks. If you want a sales contact, I'll see if I can find you one.

Also, look up Adrenaline Junkey here on the forum... he lives a couple of miles away from them...

Thanks for the info!

I appreciate the replies. I live about 600 miles away from them, and don't want to drive all that way and have problems. I'm not sure if I'm going with them or not, but they have treated me well so far with all my questions on the phone. I've been impressed.

Thanks again for the information!

But what's the price after your cash for clunkers? Are they giving you retail less the 3000.00 or what? I'm a little confused with there ad......Cuz you can keep your sled and i will sell ya new 2009 Nytro for 7600.00 OTD.

I would suggest getting it from a local dealer.

That way when you need parts they are there to help you out, rather than out of business.

These are tough economic times and I think it is critical to support your local dealer, otherwise they won't be there.

figure out what your time and fuel are worth to go get one 600 miles away and I think you will be able to buy it locally for the same $.

Cycle city is great to work with they have been the new owners for the last two years I believe. you might get some reports of the last owners that wont be good cause they would have screwed there mother out of her last nickle. One thing i did find out after moto came down is that they will pay the person who refers you 50 bucks so if you come down here and buy say i sent you and i will kick it back to you to help on gas :beer; but you cant go wrong with freeagent either :D If you go with cycle city let me know if i can do anything to help :beer;

YOU S.O.B.!!!!
I have felt guilty about breakfast for almost a year now! Crap, you bought, and still came out with enough to buy a 12 pack! You owe me now sucka!

Michelle is the best dealer in the U.S. of A!!!! You simply asked about Cycle City... not who was the best to go to! Cycle City was honest, and did me a great deal, but they can't hold a candle to Oregon Trail.

As a matter of fact, I called Michelle before I dealt with CC... she just didn't have the Phazer I desired, so I went for the "next best".
