Is this a good deal

i am a sucker for wrecked things cause i like to rebuild them, but this seems a little high for basically a motor/pipe....

the tunnel is gone...who knows about the bulkhead...

but the $1500 he is asking is pretty much for the only usable parts (slp pipe/y-pipe, engine w/slp head)

you would have to have that guy check the crank runout before you considered it...as some guys dont have a clue how gentle they should be when messing with this sled, or how bad he really wrecked that thing???

if you were to get it for $1000, or $1200 MAX...AND the crank came out within spec...i say it would be worth it to buy and dump what you cant use and start over with a good known chassis...

You can buy complete, low mile 900s for under $3k.

They $1500 doesn't seem like much of a deal... unless you have a blown up 900 and need a new motor.

bought a 2006 900 switchback last year for 1500 complete needs stator so that is not a good deal.

Man all the running 900s in this area are going for 5k+... And you guys are saying sub 3k?

They are "ASKING" $5k... but no one is getting that...

I had a lot of trouble getting $4000 for mine 2yrs ago and it had lots of options and was MINT with less than 500 miles!!

yep..I would say they have settled in the 3k range.
