We took 10 sleds up to Packer John on Wednesday. When we unloaded, the road back across the river and over the rr tracks was covered. By the time we came out, we were on asphalt. It was pretty skinny down low, but by the time we got past the new Murry development the depths had increased and we had some good off-trail riding. In fact, there was enough snow up near the top that another group had dropped off and gotten themselves into some trouble. We stuck around and helped pull them out and had some good side-hilling and boondocking up there. It was actually pretty darn good up high!
