Is there a difference between the different makes of helixes

Was wanting to put a 40/36 helix in my m8, is there a difference in between a SLP helix and any other helix out there or are they all the same?

BDX makes SLPs helixes anyway so there's no difference there.

There are some differences in the way some helixes are made internally but typically 40 degrees is 40 degrees to the best of my knowledge.

if you own a 07 or 08 make sure you order the mechanical reverse helix, the 09 and up helix has a huge cut out in the backside of the ramps for the helix to catch when in reverse.

There's surely some differences in helixes. Sure angles are what they are I believe there's difference how and way when angle turns to another. Some helix changes sooner to shallower angle and some later.

Progressive or stepped also. The one that SLP recommends is a 40/36P which is progressive.
