Is there a burning problem with the XP's?

Put 50 miles on Sunday. Spare belt got hot sitting on top of the pipe. I ended up stashing the belt in my backpack. Left black marks on the pipe. Ski Doo engineers should be beaten for putting the spare belt in that location.

If you have the spare installed the correct way, it should have plenty of clearance from the pipe........Not sure how that could happen looking at how mine sits in there
 
there are directions. when i put mine in it wasn't right. the right side needs to go up in the belt guard or something

If I was looking to cut weight I think that would be my first choice.

standing in front of the sled with the hood off the right side is supposed to sit ontop of the front bumper that goes through tub , yes it is a pain. once you get that side crammed up there then the left side pushs out on the other side and makes your hood look like its not on right lol
 
a burning problem........hmmmmmmmm.....I bet your doctor could prescribe a lotion that would cure that.
