Is the softer rear spring worth it? 2014 update

Like it says what do you guys think of the softer rear shock spring option for 85$? Is it only for trails?

It not softer its stiffer. The spring that came in them the last 2 years kits was a 165 lb. spring and the 2014 kit has a 200 lb.
Its intension is to be able to carry more cargo weight with out bottoming the suspension in the big dips. If you do not feel bottoming then I would not wary about it.

Yes

The #200 rear spring is a definite improvement. But to have the suspension work correctly you should re-valve the shock for more rebound damping. If you don't the rear will pogo off the bumps.
Any suspension shop can easily re-valve the shock.
