They are slighltly different. The 04 will have either a TRA III or V ( I'm not exactly sure which) while the 07 will have a TRA VII. The biggest difference is the outer sheave of the older TRA's mates with the inner sheave via a splinned shaft where on the TRA VII it mates via a friction fit just like the entire clutch mates with the crankshaft.

i was told that if i pull everything off and replace it with the complete 06 clutch it will work. but that is coming from the guy who is selling it so im not sure.
