Is spring ordering a X worth the money?

I am switching from cat to doo this year and I would like to know if a spring order X will be worth the money, or should I just buy a carry over 08? I also would like to know if I should go 154 or 163 on the X? I know the new specs are not out yet on the 09s but was there much difference on the 08 Xs over the 08 everests?

The X not only looks better but you get the 163" or track choices and the shocks too.

That is also why I dont want a 08 everest is because the black and gray looks way to plain on a kick azz sled.

go with the X fo sho. New from Cat myself and dont regret one thing. I weigh 175# and the 154 is bad azz I have never had a sled that rips even under the snow.

This year I'm sure you will still get the better shocks, lower windshield, and a few other goodies, but you'll have to deal with the Papa Smurf Blue!!

I am going to buy the black one in a 154 and have them put a all black seat on so I can chang the graphics if I need to.

A friend has the Summit X from this year. We discussed this same topic and determined that it would have been better for him to get a regular Summit. He changed all the shocks out for Fox Floats because the Ski-Doo snow check packages (X package) doesn't have all that great of shocks. He didn't like the sled until he went to the Fox Floats.

I dont know about the price increase this year and are the problems solved yet from 08? Also that blue color is horrible, might stick with my 07 X one more year.

Like others mentioned, I would get the regular Summit, and put the extra money into the shocks. About the engine warranty, well it really depends on your other plans for the sled. If you are going to leave the motor alone for the most part, the that is great, but if you know you will lose your warranty because of your mods then who cares.

Go with the Black/Blue 163X. Best option in my opinion. You will like the 163"...very manuverable and climbs great!

go with the 163, buy from the us and get the BB before even putting a mile on the sled...then get back to us a sled to die for
