Is my starter solenoid bad?

I have a 2011 Pro RMK with an estart system that I have never been able to use (bought the sled last summer). It pull starts fine and all gauges work once its going.
With a fully charged battery, when I turn the key to on the gauges do not come on (not sure if this is normal). When I turn the key to start the engine does not turn over. I don't hear any clicks from the solenoid either.

I can jump across the two big posts on the solenoid with a screwdriver and the starter turns so I know it works and is not locked up.

With my test light I can see that I have constant power to the small post on the left (looking at the solenoid from the front of the sled towards the back). I can also see that when I turn the key to start it completes a ground to the small post on the right.

Are all of these are normal? Does this mean I just have a bad solenoid? What else should I check?

Thanks for the help,
Chris

Post up some photos or your battery and connections at the battery.

Check connectors at the switch, the circuit breaker, the electric start sub harness.

Yes , if you cross the posts on the selenoid and the starter turns the selenoid is bad. Should only be $20 or so to replace.
