Is my secondary spring shot?

On my 05 900 RMK, I'm only hitting 6900rpm. I used to hit 7500-7600.
It was intermitent but now pretty much all the time. If the spring is shot then it would allow the clutch to upshift really fast and I wouldn't get full rpm's. Is this correct. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

clutch prob.

you could have dirty clutches or a bad primary spring (generally primary clutch controls RPM of engine) but dirty clutches, a bad roller in primary will cause same problem, due to the clutch binding. secondary "could" be the prob. but check the primary also. have a nice day.
