Is it possible to separately buy a lower spherical bearing for AXYS a-arms?

As stated in subject I just heard from a friend that these bearings can be only purchased together with a new set of a-arms. When checking on the parts diagram by this item it says "contact dealer". As it is saturday I am unable to contact dealer therefore I am asking here. Do you have any information about that? For my pro rmk I definitely purchased these bearings separately without having to buy the whole a-arm.

Yes, I believe the Assault steel arms use the same spherical bearing and it can be bought separately, unless they are back-ordered like most everything else for the Axys.

I actually wondered ff this spherical bearing in AXYS is not the same as PRO RMK? But what about the item for the upper a-arm, I am not sure how this piece is called in english, item number 7 in the diagram below, where do I get that from?

If back ordered from Polaris, also available on the Zbroz site. Note that the top joint they supply is a larger stud which requires drilling the spindle from 10mm to 12mm I think. The bottom joint is identical.

Yes they can be ordered. We have a few here but they are backordered again. I should have more in next week if you can't find any

can the same item (whatever it is called, it looks differently on the diagram) from the upper a-arm be ordered from polaris as well? do you have that too Boston?

seems like I am chasing my tail around here, let me rephrase it

There is lower and upper ball joint on AXYS a-arms, as you already wrote in this thread the lower ball joint can be purchased from assault or from zbroz website. But where do I get the upper ball joint from? Item 7 on the diagram I previously posted

Last time I talked to zbroz that was the 12mm stud version and you will have to drill the upper spindle.

I know Michelle at Oregon Trail Sports had some on the way if your looking.

you are right, for zbroz I need to drill upper spindle to 12mm

where do I buy these ball joints in stock size? someone quoted earlier that "Oregon Trail Sports" has them, but do you mean they have them in stock size, or the zbroz 12mm size?

Item 15 lower bearing is the same back to 2013 when they switched to metric. Can be purchase separate at polaris.
Item 7 cannot be purchased separate from polaris, at least early in the season, but you can get the assault ones or the trail axys, I have a set as spares but they have the larger stud. I have seen some aftermarket but not sure if they have stock stud size or the larger size.

Call up any rental place or dealer and ask if they have any bent arms. Sometimes they are a bitch to get out so I just cut them out with a hacksaw and pry them open.

Correction: Polaris switched to metric with the PRO Ride Chassis; 2010 for the flatlander sleds, 2011 for the mountain sleds. That said; the lower bearing is still the same as the ones they used in the IQ chassis. When you buy them is has dual part numbers, at least according to the instructions that come with them.

You may be more accurate on the timeline on that. I thought I remembered it was with the change in a arm design but probably was with the pro chassis. The metric bolt won't fit in the old bearing tho, that's what is different. I have a set of old ones, I tried drilling them out but wrecked a couple of bits so give up on that idea, steel is very hard.

Okay, they must have superseded the newer one to replace both then, as 10mm is just a bit larger than the old 3/8" was. The rest of the dimensions are the same. Thanks!
