can it be done? either new rails and rear arm or maybe a complete rmk skid frame? I need more track on my switchback for offtrail.

I honestly think all the sled needs is to be non couples and a 1.75 backcountry track. I have the track, but not the non coupling. I thought about doing the same this summer but got a smoking deal on a SB Assault and the $2700 upgrade will be good money spent. Rode one this weekend and it is VERY different, exactly what mine is not off trail. I think mine is better on trail, but I want more off trail ability.

yeah, ive ridden the 2011 switch assault on and off trail. loved it! but a new sled is not an option, a track and rear skid could work within the budget. I don't want to just stretch it.

ive got a few offers for a 144 rear skid, now i just need to figure out the mounting location for it. obviously there is a difference between the switchback coupled rear skid and the uncoupled rmk skid.

This is where POlaris dropped the ball on the SB in '08 turning it into a 136 while everyone wanted it to be a 144.

ready to swap a 144 rmk skid into my 136 tunnel

all i need now is the mounting locations and maybe a set of new drop brackets. I believe the rear hole is 5" further back than on my 136 tunnel. can anyone get a measurement for me?
