sled is a 2010 800 RMK. Cylinders are coming off to replace Pistons so I will be removing the upper fuel rail per the shop manual. Shop manual says depressurize fuel system with the Schrader valve. Is this necessary? If yes is the attachment and hose necessary? Are they available at auto parts stores like Napa?

Is there a lot of fuel that comes out under pressure?

I emailed you back.

I realized thinking about it that yes, you do need to depressurize. The injectors are only held in by o-rings pnce you take the rails loose.

Not much fuel comes out. Just put some rags under it to soak up the fuel (or a small cup or something) and then dispose of them safely. No tool needed just a screwdriver point or something on the valve, like a tire valve. More will dribble out when you take the rail loose from the injectors.
