Seems to me not a lot of people are in the holiday spirit!!

HMmm lets see:
1. The economy is in the toilet according to every overpaid analyst. EVERYTHING is doom and gloom.
2. HUGE job losses.
3. NO ONE knows if or when this recession will be over.
So I'm to the point now where I'm sick of the public opinion because I feel that I have been brainwashed into thinking that we are all fahkt and you wanna know why people are not so merry???:mad:
Not much to look forward to in the next 12 to 24 months!

Hey, I got an awesome job, great kids and wife. Own my sled outright, have a great house, family and church. Not much to be bah hum buggish here. Diesel and gas prices are down! Life is good.

It just doesn't feel like christmas this year
maybe because of the extreemly cold weather and the fact that we have snow for it this time.

I noticed there are no threads about what we want for christmas, what we are giving spouces or kids this year or even snowmobile wish lists for christmas.

Everybody must be going shopping on the 23rd

it does seem this year that not many people are getting into the holiday spirit. i have been guilty of it myself but i am trying to get a little bit better. hope you all have a merry christmas and a happy new year! be safe in your travels and be careful when you go riding!:D:beer;:beer;
 
the only people in a recession are tax paying middle class folks. There could be a nuclear holocaust and Walmart would still be packed. I like the prices but I think we need another one. 30 freekin checkouts and it still takes 20 minutes in line to buy oil and a filter for the sled hauler. As far as recession I had my best year ever. Made almost 30k more than average. So its a very Merry Christmas for me. My son would agree. Here's his new Dragon for Christmas.

Gimpster, you are right. Here's my list.

Dear Santa, according to my wife, I have been a pretty good boy this year so this is what I would like:

1. A new M6 for her with a dashbag.( She doesn't kmow but she is getting one)!
2. A new Fly backcountry pack with all the bells and whistles or the equivalent there of.
3. A new helmet.
4. Some 509's would rock.
5. A couple of beacons.
6. and finally-Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow,
Oh yeah and some really cheap gas for a while.

Got another foot of snow for Christmas today in Idaho Falls. This is usually the most uplifting time of the year.
If you are feeling a little off, it helps immensely to go do something for someone else instead of dwell on what's wrong. Many of us enjoyed digging out the neighborhood today.
Merry Christmas Everyone.

Alright who is the fool who gave me negative rep for my joke about "happy holidays." If you wernt such a GRINCH then you would realize i was joking. I think the whole happy holidays thing is ludicris.

Now i understand you dont want to leave your name when you negative rep me, but if your a stand up kind of guy and not a coward you will man up and give a positive rep back.

Merry Christmas!

The guys that work for me are getting a raise almost every month (which means I get a little one too). I have a great family, a beautiful place to live, a hot wood stove when its cold out and some nice sleds. I am grateful and super stoked.
