To pull the motor to get jugs off? It might be a dumb question, but figured I'd ask....want to put 06 pistons in vs. 05's.

It isn't that bad to remove a 900, and it's well worth it if you haven't checked your motor mounts in a while. If you don't already have a copy of the 05 deep snow shop manual, find the link to download it in the stickies. Of course there is alot of us here who have had a 900 out and back in more than a few times, were all here to help.
On the other hand, it is mid-season.... if it were me, and my belt mileage was good, I might be tempted to just install the top end quickly and plan for the engine removal as part of my summer projects. Of course this doesn't really apply to me because I have an 06. How many miles are you getting out of your belts right now?
Never had a belt issue runnin' 1115 belt.
