Is HTG the only 975 kit left in town?

if it makes you feel any better...the 2 places here in town that i got nitrous refills from, both bailed on selling it..so i have no way to refill my bottle either...unless i take it with me out of town when i go, or mail it..

only good thing is..that probably saved me from blowing my motor, lol...

lots of people are having good luck with 100LL aviation gas... easy to get anywhere.
That would be good for moderate levels of boost to 9-10 lbs.

Guido... you need to buy your own refil station.... makes it less espensive... plus you can do it as a service for others and make up the cost of the equipment quickly....especially with the other shops in town not doing it... Heck... ask them to buy their equipment.

X2 for AvGas-100LL. Have been running it in my Struthers 975 for a couple of seasons. Cheaper then race gas and easy to find. Here is a link for you to type in the zip code and it will list all of the places to buy fuel and cost. http://www.airnav.com/.

Welp ...

I dunno, how well have the T900's been holding up? Have they been breaking everything left and right?

I've talked to both Jack Struthers and Chris Kasel at Carls... Outside of supporting current 975 customers... they are NOT interested in making these kits again... even if there lots of people that want to order and put down 100% deposit... (I asked that too).

It's just not worth the time to hassle with a "dead" motor design.

WOW, now that is just plain depressing:eek::( I admit I'm pretty new to these machines compared to some of you guys, but I am totally in love with my 900.... I honestly can't believe they stopped making them:( The combination of this much torque in this chassis is just unreal. I think the only thing I would ever do if this thing died on me is to throw a 1000cc cat motor in it and keep riding;):D:D:D

That'd probably be way more power than I would ever need on a weekly basis, but there's no such thing as having too much power;):D

What are you mixing it at if anything? How's it run with it? What did Carl's say about running it?

I am running the 100LL straight - 100%. The sled runs great with it! I have two full seasons on it. Carls thought that it would be fine. I think that the 70/30 pump-race mix comes out at 98-100 octane.

I got the news on this tonite, I guess there were too many dopers huffing nitrous, so they outlawed it unless you have either a medical or laboratory license! The places you can still get it are jacking the price up and mixing in their own sulphur. The price has literally quadrupled in the last several months! Anybody else have any input on this?

WTF..no chit? People are huffing that crap..they must go fast as HELL, lol....figures stupid chit gets us all screwed...

If they are huffing it... they getting REALLY sick...

Motorsports/Idustrial grade Nitrous oxide is denatured compared to the medical grade stuff.

Welding supply shops sell the Motorsports grade Nitrous.... Get on it sean...You could pay for your Nitrous use and help others out.

Call your local AirGas or other welding gas supplier and ask them about Nitrous for engines.. better yet...stop in and pay them a visit.

Easy to refill small cylinders from a main tank.

Now, before you get all excited... I am not saying that the welding gas supply shops will refill your cylinder...

They Won't

What I am saying is that you could buy a large cylinder, gas, and a refil station and do this for yourself...

They Will refill or exchange the Large industrial cylinder once empty at a very reasonable price.
