Is fox creek rd near the snowies plowed in the winter?

I'm going down to Grandby, Co for a wedding and going to ride sleds in the snowies on the way back. I'm staying in Albany. Is fox creek rd from Woods Landing to 11 near Albany plowed in the winter? I'd rather not back track to Laramie to get there if possible.

I'm not positive, but I don't think so. If it IS, it's sporadic.

Made it thru one year barely, pulling a trailer dragging snow, the last mile is what gets bad, looked like the locals did their own snow plowing, good luck

Drove thru Woods Landing yesterday and the road is not open. Somebody tried it and didn't get far up the first hill by the tracks in the snow.

Its a county plowed road. Its usually is plowed, but when things get hectic it suffers first.

Thanks Jake, for the clarification. BTW catrider, you can cut through from 230 to 130 on Harmony Rd and Big Hollow RD. Google map it, save ya going all the way back to Laramie.

All have given appropriate advice, go to the cutoff just described. Yeah some have gone through Fox Creek, some pulled trailers......... while others found out their cell phones don't work, its a long walk or ride if you unload machines, and its expensive to get a tow truck up there if you can get em to come.

It can be plowed and it can be shut down in a hurry. County plows when they can.
