So with alignment problems with my 2014 and belts every hundred miles. the first guy my dealer talked to with Cat was Niel, sorry niel but you suck, told us that they wouldn't touch it because I used the osp jackshaft support and engine bumper, the second phone call was to Wade with Cat, Wade was more informative and said that they are actually looking into a fix that this week there is some expo or snow show there at and have been getting an earful from these problems with the sleds and planned to have a remedy within a week on cat tracker. So for what its worth I hope its true and thanks for the dealers and others for stepping up to say hey there is a problem with you chit. im done with my rant, thanks lol f u Niel

I wouldent count on a fix maybe another bandaid, they have been building the 1100 for three years now they know there's a problem, but they dont seem to care. Guess if we keep buying they will keep building non functional equipment. Just like the US government maybe cat needs some house cleaning also.Get rid of the non functional management fat cats.

Bad engineering design

They need to do something, that's for sure!!!

Using the front heat exchanger as a frame motor mount was asking for trouble in my option.
If/when that breaks they'll/you'll have a big job on your hands to fix it.
Only a matter of time till it cracks and leaks out antifreeze ruining your day/trip.

so i thought sage crusher but low and behold got another one. have you been able to put any miles on yours yet? as soon as im done with night shift ill give ya a call

Did you see the TCL on the 2015 M series cats except the M7000s? The TCL is a rigid plate between the jackshaft and primary. If this fixes the belt misalignment problems, they need to fix this on the earlier 1100s! Especially since Cat claimed last year they had fixed the problem for the 2014s.....and didn't!

TCL has been on all sleds since 2012 and is what many consider to be the reason for belt problem on the m sleds. The Yami based 7000 doesn't have one because frankly Yamaha knows how to build a drivetrain.

Is this not only on the 800 2S? They came like this in 2012? I'd have to see the 2015 w/ the 1100, but I'm sure they're still doing it the same way with the TCL? Maybe one of the AC dealers can chime in.

That pic is a 2stroker. Evo has fixed the entire problem. Call them and cut that engineering nightmare off your machine. Waiting for cat isn't going to help. Those tards seem to think a secondary with big fins solves it. Not/epic fail.

The TCL that we now have is designed to fit the 800 along with the 1100 also we just need to iron out a few things so this will go on the 800 sleds. stay tune.

You can say what you want about the newest fix, but this is it for the 15's.

new jack shaft
new jack shaft bearings
7 tooth drivers and new drive shaft
New clutching

Don't have any other details than that. Cat has part numbers out for the new clutching and 7t drivers. No changes on any of the mounts at this time.

Well...

if I ever meet the AC engineer who designed the driveline in my M1100T, he's gonna be in a World of hurt. I wouldn't be able to hold my composure!
