Is $8399 a good price for a new 2008 M8

NO. We bought a 08 m8 with 600 miles on it for 7,000.

Yeah but thats used. As soon as they leave the dealer they are worth $1000 less. What about new? I just put a grand into the last used one I bought. I'm thinking about going new. I've got a good deal on a M7.

paid 8700 for a 1000 with the powerclaw... so that's not a bad price, especially for the SP... Great sleds... couldn't be happier

Real Deal

If they have a 09 M8 Sno Pro for $8000. thats a real deal.

I tend to think that must be a typo on someones part.
Only $200 bucks difference between 08 and 09 "NOT"

That 2009 M8 wasn't a sno pro for 8000. Add 699 for the sno pro.

There has got to be a bunch of sweet deals out there, I know a place aroud here that still has 07's I would not buy a used sled over a new one unless the deal was crazy cheap.

that's i pretty good deal and if its from your local dealer you should get beter service than ordering one on line or even buying out of town,I paid over 10,000 for mine this year but i live in Canada.

Sounds like a great deal!!!
Opps sorry thought it was a 09... Decent deal
Lots of weight lost between the 08 and 09

Where is this deal at?

Sounds like a decent deal, I got my 08 M8 sp last march for $8k, with a cover and 2 year warranty. I would try to pick it up for less. Or, if you're not in a hurry, obviously the economy is really sucking, so could be worth waiting another month or 2, and trying to get an 09.

I hear those new tracks are the fo-shizzle!

I just payed $9300 for a 2009 M8 SnoPro 153 with 2 year warranty. I think is was a decent deal? The upgrades on the 09 is worth the extra $1K to me.

good price?

no matter what they 09 is always going to be worth atleast 750 - 1000 more than an 08, is just is because of differnces...I just paid 9200, plus tax only on a 09 m8 162, there are dealers with 153 09 sno pros for under 9k, just look, if you offer any dealer these prices they will take them..but at all costs get the 09 and do it soon, they really good, and worth every penny regarless of how much you pay!

Of course it matters too when you buy it, as you will pay more for an 09 now than in March. I'm thinking of selling my 08 sp (don't get me wrong, is a great sled!) and getting an 09 b/c of the great reviews!

Seems like a good deal to me, especially with the snopro package and 2 year warranty. Id be all over that if I was looking for a second sled.

I just bought a 2009 M8 153 non sno pro for $7999 with a 1 year warranty. Thanks for all the feedback!
