iRobot Roomba....way cool

Bought a Roomba 540 labled "To Norm and Molly" (our two hounds....I know better than to buy a cleaning appliance fer the woman). I know it's all new and everything, but it's just fascinating to watch it vacuum a room...LOL! The ol' lady and I (and Norm and Molly) laid on the bed and watched this thing vacuum the floor, under the bed, and the ensuite for about an hour, then drive back to its charger and go back to sleep. Right now I have it doing the downstairs entryway, hall, and laundryroom....hahaha. What a great invention! I emptied the dirt tray and filter after the bedroom test and, well, it's finding a lot of dirt....so I guess that's good. Not sure if we can leave it unsupervised during the day as I'm sure Norm will hump it and Molly will chew it apart....

Anyways...wishin everyone Happy Holidays....sittin' here with a glass o' red and a slice of aged ched....Revy tomorrow!

Doing the living room right now I'm just not sure how does it know that it has got the whole area as it goes over things 2-3 times not done yet though.

Vacuum the room today, feed the dog, and take care to the children tomorrow. You'll call it Master by 2100.

Mount a camera to it, use a motion library to have it chase things... wifi to shoot vids to teh internets...
