IQ Racer Rear Skid

My rail tips ar hitting my drivers on my IQ Race Chassis. I have a Holz suspension on 144 RMK rails with 7 tooth 3.0 drivers. Has anyone else ran into this problem? I was told this was a bolt up kit.

Are the drivers the anti-ratchet style? This will cause them to hit.

You might have to move the skid back and inch or two (if you have enough slack in the track to allow this) or cut a little off the front of the rails.

I don't know if the IQ suspension mounts are the same as the edge (havn't worked on mine enough), but on the edge, the rear mount has 5 holes. It was really easy to just move it back two holes (around 2") and then drill two new holes for the front mount. If you look inside the tunnel on the front, there should be a steel plate that the stock hole is in. Hopefully on the IQ's, this plate goes back at least 2" so that you can drill your front mount hole there and not have to worry about adding some type of steel for support.

Most people will recomend an using an anti stab kit when adding extrovert drivers and doing a skid setback. I don't use one and havn't stabed my track yet but with the change in approach angle and the loose track I am probably just lucky.

I just installed the anti stab kit. The rails clear the drivers now. Hopefully I don't need to move the skid back to get enough track tension. Thanks for the help.
