IQ gauge lifter

Does anyone make a gauge lifter to fit the IQ gauge like the Pro chassis has? I searched around, but couldnt find anything.. Anyone know of 1 in existance? :face-icon-small-ton

Mountain Fit Hoods used to make one but I can't find it on their site now. I think I have one in the shop that I was going to use with their hood and air intake shelf, but haven't gotten around to it yet... I believe it was an ABS spacer basically, 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick, I would have to take a look at it to be sure. If that is the kind of thing you are looking for then give them a call.

Looks like the timbersled moves them up to the handlebars. I did that on my gen2 with mesh hood and loved it (but never rolled it).

I hate to see them close out stuff for sleds that are only a couple years old... I would think they would still sell some to us people riding "old iron" like 2008-2010. *L* They even have that chassis in newer sleds than that if you look at the smaller displacement ones... like 600s...

We have one.

We have a Gauge Stand for the IQ chassis just added it to our site. We also have stands for the PRO, all three gauges found on the 05 to 2011 m Series and crossfires, and just finishing up the Zr-3, edge, and Xp chassis. Plan on doing the rev in the near future.

The iq can be found on our site mountainfithoods.net and the others will be added soon. They also can be purchased here on snowest from PRsnowproducts, and in Canada from menztoys.com.

Thanks and pray for SNOW!

^^^^ This is pretty much what I am looking for.. Needing it a little customized though..

I am actually going to be running the IQ gauge setup on a pro because of the motor that I will be running, so basically what I need is the Pro gauge lifter that can use the IQ gauge instead of the Pro gauge. The Timbersled setup would work for this, but I dont really like the bulkiness it adds to the bars..

MountainFit, would it be possible for the lower portion of the Pro lifter to attach to the upper part of the IQ lifter?

yes but..

The iq and pro base won't interchange, We can build you a one off that will work with your pro, but will not be able to do one untill after the show season is over (mid nov.) just to much going on right now. give us a call or email and we will get it in the works for you, thanks MFH

So YZ, curious what you are doing? Reason I ask is I would like to move to a Pro chassis at some point a year or two down the road, but would want to take my 08 Carl's 860 with me... picked the sled up late last season for a good price, and it would be awful expensive to build that motor over again based on the Pro motor...

What I am probably going to do is use a CFI 700 motor in a pro chassis and the pro gauge will not work with the wiring and electrical from the 700.

what's the benefit of any of this?

The benefit of a gauge lifter is it moves the position of the gauge to make it easier to see when riding.

<snip>
I may keep you on my list, if I run across a PRO chassis I may ask you how this project went, what all you had to do to adapt the CFI700 into that chassis etc. - the Carls 860 has the same electronics, fuel system, etc. so hooking it up should be identical...

Unless you get bored and want to send me the how-to now. Complete with parts list etc. :photo:

I have this project posted in the build section of this forum if you want to follow the progress. It's slow going right now, but should get going again shortly..

Cool. I will go check it out. If I find a deal on a rolling chassis that will be the direction I will probably go, although I am happy for now with the Dragon chassis (have not ridden a PRO yet).
