They are constructed out of 1/8" aluminum.
Some cool features that set them apart:
Pre-located rivit holes
lower cleat height; some other boards have traction cleats that stick above the outer edge of the running board. FEETHOOKERs are slightly below the outer edge; giving you a positve feel on the running board surface...no more slipping DOWN the the outer edge.
The front cleats are angled backwards; giving you traction AND easy egress from the foremost areas.
