IQ 800 fuel filter

None that I am aware of. There was an indepth post here a little while ago on making a replacement, best I have seen is to use your old hose and fittings and have them recrimped at some NAPA or Hydraulic hose stores. HPE has an inexpensive 900 efi filter availible ?!? But it is short thus the need for your old hose.

Guys have fabricated up a few different designs replacing the factory lines and filters with parts from NAPA. If you do a search you will find them, but remember that most of these fabrications are for sleds without the factory airbox in place.

WPS/SPi makes them for the 900's which has the same filter element but a different length hose.

Call up WPS (Western Power Sports) and ask them to offer it for next season.
It would be a hot seller for sure.
Their number is Boise, Idaho, (208) 376-8400

WPS is a wholesale only operation that sells through their dealer network only.
If they offer it, your dealer would be able to get them for you.

You can influence what they offer though... If they feel demand is high enough, the product would be offered I'm sure.

isnt a filter a filter? anything should work right?

nope..fuel injectors require at least a 10 micron filter..much finer then a carbed engine needs, and it must be able to flow adequete fuel even when mostly plugged to keep the motor from leaning up....as well as burning up the electric pump from the restriction caused due to pluggage....

OK, I might get flamed or banned for this, but...

I have chosen not to post tech info here any more in my own way of protesting how the site is being handled. I did put up a post with pics and #s on BCR. It is your choice if you wish to visit that site to see the write up. http://www.backcountryrebels.com/showthread.php?t=6724

EricW started a thread (I think it was on SW) with the part numbers and such, for sleds with no airbox (Turbo). I took his start, and ran with it, and came up with some slightly different solutions that allow for use with the factory airbox in tact.

a few months ago you would have been banned for that link. They must have enough paid memberships to quit being childish. Nice job!
