Dang!! this will be my 4th year in a row headed to IP and im always one week early for the Mardi gras. We even scheduled our trip 1 week later this year. Cant wait to be back again this year. I cant remeber the guys name but he gave me a Island park lodge business card and said when we come back he wants a case (or several) of Mich Golden lite.

IP Mardi Gras always is the last Sunday in February. Great party, great costumes, great food (potluck style), always big crowd, good bands, great fun. And just watching unsuspecting "tourists" come through the door is worth the trip. And snowmobiling is usually Ok that time of the year.
