We wanted to release our new stuff as soon as possible so everyone can scratch what tunnel bag you'll use next winter.
Our E-Series product line has been very popular over the last few winters so much so we've had plenty of shortage issues. Good and bad, good because we love that you LOVE the bags bad because we haven't been able to provide enough for everyone who wants one. We are fairly confident that issue has been fixed for the next season. Anyway, on to the new bag.
We wanted to provide a low profile bag with options for the technical rider who needs storage without the bulk. The Altitude bag is built like the Elevation bag just at a max height of 4" (without the shovel pouch). You can run this bag with out without the shovel storage pouch on top. The top can be removed with 4 quick release buckles giving you a slim tunnel bag. There will be two sizes, the first is the one shown and is 14 wide x 16 long and 4" tall giving you 900 cu.in. of storage space. The bottom is a plastic molded tray with a raised portion in the middle to allow air circulation around the bag.
Internally the bag is lined with a material that will allow velcro to stick to it. 1 storage pouch is located on the lid and 3 elastic straps are available to keep misc items in place.
Also included with the bag is a deluxe tool pouch and a small storage bag for bulkier misc items. Both items have velcro on the outside to stick inside where you want it.
Mounting is achieved with 4 quick side release buckles that rivet to the tunnel. Optional will be a hard mount system that will be available in fall.
99% waterproof, submersion or spring snow will allow contents to get wet.
