intercooler as intake box with stock engine

Has anyone converted their sled back to NA from turbo or supercharger and used the intercooler as their intake box? I blew the supercharger on my Yamaha Nytro and don’t want to buy the stock intake if I can just use the one I have and just plumb a connection to a pod filter… any problems with this?

Any suggestions would be great

its possible to freeze your carbs i know that the hard way...but two stroke so
