Most have probably seen before but......if tired of looking at Snotel - I think this site is kind of cool because you can see snow depth over entire area.

On the left hand side of page is a button called -Redraw Map. Directly under this button is the Select Physical Elements box -- select Snow Depth from drop down list.
You can "draw" a box with the mouse over your riding area. Once you select any features in the far left column (such as Snow Depth) hit the Redraw Map option.
It also links to several climatological stations and not just Snotel. Useful for other good info such as snowpack temp and snowpack density, snow water equivalent, etc.
