Integrated Pullover Parka + Chest Protection

Just curious if anyone has ever had this idea before ...

What if somone made basically an integrated TeK vest / Parka?

IE, something that was really warm like a Klim Valdez but offered chest and shoulder protection like a TeK vest ...

Anybody ever heard of anyone making anything like this before?

One negative of the idea is that it will be more difficult to layer, like for spring conditions. It would require you to have another one.

But what I mean is integrating a kevlar shield or whatever into the fabrick of the pullover...

I normally wear a heavy sweatshirt then long underwear under my coat, for spring riding I cold either ditch the sweatshirt or long underwear ...

I mean you wouldn't be putting 1/4" thick plating in this thing, just enough to stop a puncture wound.

I've got this (older version). Doesn't have the chest protection of the tech vest, but it has a lot more protection in other places, and the outer shell is tougher than any sled jacket, with lots of venting and a warm removable liner.
