When I bought my 900 it already had a Timbersled intake on it. After talking to a couple of guys about where it draws it's air I started wondering if a Fire N Ice would be better....making sure it got colder air.

Have any of you had issues with the Timbersled and it drawing hot air from the engine bay, like bogging or loss of throttle?

Opinions on the Fire N Ice would be appreciated.

I like my Fire N Ice air box. I also sealed up my headlight, and added several extra intake vents on the pod. (also from FNI) It gets lots of cold air.

Yes, you will get bogging issues with the Timbersled intake but with a cheap modification like I did, no more bogging and you can use the $$$ for other necessities. Check out the thread below...there is a pic in there of mine (sorry, no photobucket at work so I'll have to post some updated ones later).
