Something I noticed right away on the release is the location and shape of the engine air intakes.. I am genuinely curious to see if they capture and hold snow in the same fashion as the G4 lightweight hoods do. Also curious with the flat display gauge if it’ll also hold snow like the current hoods do.

We’ve had great snow up in AK the last 2 weeks, which comes with having to wipe off the top of the hood every stop. It’s a minor inconvenience but still something that can be engineered better.

In there tech video they explained it as being easier to wipe clear with one swipe. I would think that the flat area wouldn't trap snow like gen 4 does.

Seems like another opportunity for aftermarket to add additional intake vents like the Xtremes that go on the side of the lightweight hood.
